We manufacture - my wife and I - our organic chocolate in a chocolate factory installed in our 18th century farmhouse surrounded by its 12 hectares classified refuge LPO where we have over 50 varieties of birds and about 450 varieties of plants . The whole is bordered by a river classified Natura 2000 and surrounded by century-old hedges. For 20 years, no drop of pesticide has come to disturb the biodiversity.
With an ecologist grandfather, I pick plants and fungi since my childhood.
Because of my plant knowledge, some people use to call me by the nickname of "sorcerer" in the neighborhood!
Before making choc fleurs ®, I was an organic gardener, and I made lemonade and shortbread with wild plants collected on site.
In 2008, I had the idea of incorporating plants in chocolate, making organic chocolate and decorate them with flower petals and seeds of hemp: choc'fleurs ® were born. In February 2008, I got the prize for bio innovation in Nantes.
